An SRO in Tennessee had three students who had not attended school in almost 30 days. All of the contact information the school had on file was incorrect. The Guidance Counselor told the SRO that the father told her he was stuck in Ohio on Jan 20th and that was the last contact they had. Using COPLINK X, the SRO found that Chattanooga PD had contact with the father and grandmother five days ago. With this new information found on COPLINK X, the SRO had the father's current address and phone number. He was even able to get the CPD to conduct a welfare check on the children. Everyone was safe, and the kids went back to school.
